How to get every drop of fuel you pay for: tips from the experts
At NGS, we believe in protecting the consumer and respecting our customers. They must know this, as they have been trusting us to refuel their vehicles for years! With our long experience and expertise in the sale of liquid fuels, we can give you some simple but important advice on how to get every drop of fuel you pay for at a petrol/gas station:
-
1
Refuel your vehicle when the low fuel light comes on, not before.
-
2
Try to fill up at longer intervals, rather than adding a smaller amount of fuel (e.g. 20€) more often.
-
3
Check the number of litres on the pump after filling up your vehicle, and confirm that they do not exceed the manufacturer’s stated capacity for your tank.
-
4
Always ask for a receipt.
-
5
After each refuel, reset the odometer to zero so you know how many kilometres you get out of the given amount of fuel.
